The band received high praise from WCU band directors and Chancellor John W. Bardo upon its return to the hotel after the Rose Parade. Fans, family and alumni lined the hall and cheered as band members entered the building on Jan. 1. Click here to see other slideshows shared at roseparade.wcu.edu.
I have enjoyed following the moves of the POTM. Thanks for making me feel like I was there in person supporting my son and the whole band. Keep it up until everyone arrives home safely. WAY TO GO GUYS!!!!
My husband and I have been hanging on every word, photo and video posted here. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts for all the effort that went into this site, so we could feel a part of this incredible time in our son’s life.
What a great job done by everyone involved! The band put on a great show today! We rooted for you from our living room while we watched you march down that street! It was also very nice to be able to be informed via this website. KUDOS to all for letting all of us share our kids’ adventure! Thank you!!!
To think that my daughter came from a band with 12 to 14 members to play with an almost 400 memeber band, who played in the Tournament of Roses Parade is awesome!
