Students with the band’s uniform staff spent hours going through nearly 400 uniforms – mending tears and checking for missing parts on Sat. Dec. 18. Asked what they would do if something were discovered missing in California, Whitney Stewart, a junior mellophone player from Catawba and the team leader, said, “It won’t happen. We are dotting our i’s and crossing our t’s.”
